The Esplanade, a 55 and over residential community, consists of 140 condominium units and 10,000 square feet of retail space. The complex includes underground parking as well as an outdoor common patio featuring a trellis, natural stone walls and a barbecue grill.
Construction began in August of 2004 and was completed only 14 months later. The J. K. Scanlan Company project team had to overcome the challenges of dealing with a “postage stamp” site with a limited staging and access area. Proper delivery and construction scheduling were critical to ensure efficient work and maintain the aggressive schedule.
