Category: Clubhouses
Project name: Pinehills Golf Clubhouse
Location: Plymouth, MA
The Pinehills Golf Club is a premier, daily-fee golf course consisting of two 18 hole layouts designed by Rees Jones and Jack Nicklaus Design respectively. Fitting of the high-end golf courses on the site, the New England-style themed clubhouse, designed by CBT, Inc. was constructed in under 9 months. Groundbreaking occurred after Labor Day in 2000; the clubhouse was complete and open for service by Memorial Day of the following year.
The 30,000 SF clubhouse consists of a Pro Shop, Grille Room, Ryder Cup meeting room, Pavilion and Men's and Women's Locker Rooms. Solid core wood doors, heavy moldings and trim and a cherry bar and soffit highlight the interior space
The Pavilion space, designed to house functions of up to 250 people, is highlighted by decorative, steel plated, wood trusses which provide a post and beam feel.
While on site constructing the clubhouse, the owner hired JKS to construct the following other support buildings necessary for the operation of the golf course.
- Golf Teaching Pavilion
- Two Maintenance facilities (including Pump House).
- Starter Sheds
- Multiple Amenity Buildings throughout the course
