Building a supermarket from “scratch” requires “all the right ingredients”! The JK Scanlan Team took just over 9 months to develop this site, add traffic signals to a major roadway and build a 50,000 SF Roche Bros. Supermarket that would set the standard for this upscale grocery chain.
Both the exterior and interior boast uncommon qualities that promise a special shopping experience. The exterior is a pleasing mix of brick, stone, clapboard and EIFS with charming architectural details.
Inside, a grand curved Bakery Counter, with its mouthwatering breads, cakes & pies, greets the shopper as they pass the market-style fruit stands. The decorative finish work, lighting and ceiling moldings are a few of the high-end details that contribute to making this store so inviting.
Of particular note is the dramatic Greenhouse with its glass walls and bold roofline. The surrounding custom-built wooden trellis creates the perfect “open-air” display for seasonal plants.
